To raise compassion through monthly service projects — and to donate to the benefit of those experiencing homelessness, addiction and/ or mental illness through an annual fundraising event. ♥
December was another great project at Angel Tree + Shopping Spree.
In November, we hosted Art + Wine to raise funds for the VOA and Road Home to open winter overflow beds.
October was our eighth Trick-or-Treat for the Utah Food Bank.
September presented another new project, this time led by Aprill... Walk Out of Darkness, for prevention and awareness of suicide.
In August, we raised two truck beds full of school supplies at the Car Show & School Supply 'Drive', led by Vickie and Sarah.
July's PB&J Project was the biggest yet, making and delivering 300 sack lunches, 450 water bottles, and several doggie treat bags to those who are hungry downtown.
In June, we joined Project Rainbow to install and remove flags in the community to raise awareness and support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
In May, we had the opportunity to make cupcake kits with flowers in decorated vases for all the moms at the YWCA, thanks to Muyly's confectionary skills.
April brought a new project, Spring Into Kindness, led by Carmen Harris and Muyly Miller. This event hosted 213 participants, including 73 guests from the Road Home's Midvale Shelter in random acts of kindness, waffle breakfast, and an egg hunt. [see photos]
March was another double feature of making and serving breakfast and dinner at the VOA.
In February, we made breakfast for the VOA Youth Resource Center and made Dinner for the VOA Center for Women & Children.
In January, we completed our 7th annual Clothing & Necessities Drive for the VOA.
Angel Tree is back and we had a great time volunteering again this Dec.
In Nov, we completed two projects, serving eight meals at the VOA Youth Center & the VOA Center for Women and Children.
