Love Lake City is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to raise compassion through monthly service projects — and to donate to the benefit of those experiencing homelessness, addiction, and/ or mental illness through an annual fundraising event. Every penny raised is a penny donated. All operating, administrative, and event costs are paid by the co-founders through their real estate team's "going beyond good" program.
We are proud to serve a diverse community and we are committed to equity and inclusion, regardless of a person's race, religion, sex, orientation, identity, ability, or familial status. And we do not tolerate hate or injustice. In partnering with nonprofits, we only donate to those who share our mission and vision for creating an inclusive community for all.
"We must become the change we wish to see in the world." |
"We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone." |
the philosophy |
There's one resource that we are all granted equally, regardless of family, work, education, race, sex, etc. And that is time.
Together, we can use our time to be the change we want to see in the world. |
the project |
A group of awesome humans doing a monthly service project that is fun and impactful.
And once a year that service project is an event fundraiser, where every penny raised goes directly to help those experiencing homelessness, addiction, and/ or mental illness. "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." "A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality." |
the purpose |
To raise compassion through service – and make the world a better place.
And... Rumor has it, helping others makes the heart happy. |
